the sound is kind …
the sound is kind of close to piano except for the thickest string. this is a wonderful and accurate performance, the best i’ve seen for this song on bass. thumbs up

Yes – it is …
Yes – it is possible to play it with only 4 strings, but in that way some notes – the highest and lowest need to be played higher or lower – in octaves. That changes could degradate it a little bit. 4 string bass with 24 freets has the lowest sound E1, and the highest G4.. And in this adagio the lowest note is low C#1 (lack of 3 half-tones down), and the highest is G#4 (lack of a one halftone high). Besides the last 2 chords and some the others are built with 5notes,which can`t be playd with 4st

Does this song need a six-string bass to play, like yours? Or can enough range be achieved on a four-string? I’d like to start learning bass really soon, and one of these days (eventually) I’d love to play this song.
