Electric Violin – Cliffs of Dover – (CLEAN cover)
May 27, 2010 amazing violin solos

My name is Eddie Carlson, and this is the first violin cover of Eric Johnson’s epic “Cliffs of Dover.” I hope you enjoy my performance.
I am playing a Yamaha SV-200 through a Boss ME-50 effects pedal.
The audio/video sync is a little off…I think it just has something to do with being uploaded to youtube because there’s no similar latency when the actual video file plays on my computer. Oh well.
I don’t have the sheet music for this song, so I can’t send it to you – sorry. Check out the guitar tabs, they’re posted online everywhere, that’s how I learned it.
May 9 2010: I didn’t realize I could change the title after posting a video. When I first made the video, I jammed “guitar hero” in the title to score views. I definitely agree, Eric Johnson is amazing and it’s a cover of his song, not a cover form guitar hero. I give you…the new title, EJ fans rejoice! : )
The first violin cover of “Cliffs of Dover”

Entirely cool …
Entirely cool Always makes me feel great to hear this tune well-played. Really nice job. Now, if I may—since you’re boldly walking straight into guitar territory -where I have lived my life- consider a nice wahwah pedal , a good delay and an EQ and you’ll be turning even more folks right on their ears than you are already.
