This unlikely trio astounded the audience at the 2007 Grammys. Corinne Bailey Rae, John Legend, and John Mayer took the stage together and each artist sang one of their songs while being accompanied by the other two. Rae started with “Like A Star” followed by a gorgeous “Coming Home” by John Legend. Rae harmonizing on the chorus with Legend was chill-inducing and brought me to tears. The medley ended with “Gravity” by John Mayer, who performed a wicked guitar solo before picking up the Grammy for best male pop vocal album.

3 Wonderful …
3 Wonderful performers singing and playing together. They were magnificient. Corrine is such a breath of fresh air. They are all so talented and beautiful. Was so sorry to hear about Corrine’s husband’s death. He was part of Amy Winehouse’s band. I remember this performance on the Grammy’s. Thanks for the post and the memories.

3 truly talented …
3 truly talented professionals- such class- they all made each other better, and no one tried to outshine, so they all ended up more brilliant. I don’t really know who the other 2 besides John mayer are, but now I’m going to find out. Kismet! They all appear to feel the goosebumps too, they’re really into their performance!

not THAT much of a fan of legend (sorry) but this is surely a very talented trio!!

i remember seeing this and falling in love twice:
once with her and her voice and beauty
