Hi wlwak, …
Hi wlwak, Vincente’s piece is indeed beautiful. However it’s like asking which is nicer – the handmade Chinese or Turkish rug?! ! Sometimes it depends upon what we are most used to. For me, music that uplifts and enables the listener to experience any of the huge range of positive emotions is all that matters! However i don’t believe that thinking too hard about the abstract enables these subtle qualities to be experienced. Just enjoy!

@seekinside
Well I don’t know. They’re great but this piece doesn’t float my boat. May I suggest you look at my featured video of Vincente Amigo…..flamenco guitarist with a bit more musicality, think. Check it out and give me your opinion.

It’s surprising …
It’s surprising what people can do if they practise enough from an early age. However, I must say that the reason Segovia turned from falmenco to classical music was because he the thought the former to be more about? show than musicality and I have to say I agree with him Flamenco makes me say ”wow” in the same way I say ”wow” when I see a great juggler but it doesn’t make me say ”ah” as I do when I hear Johan Sebastian Bach.

Flamenco and Indian …
Flamenco and Indian musicians, alongside jazz performers, blend their knowledge in a performance that is laden with rhythm and virtuosity. Fusion from the top drawer which causes one’s feet to dance on their own.
