Taking a week off
Ok guys it looks like stevysound has to take a week off because we actually were able to rent out the studio for a big video shoot. Totally fine with me because I spent a bit of time learning how to edit video with sony vegas and dvd architect.
Its actually amazing what sony vegas can do, I don’t even have the full version, its something like vegas studio platinum 9, but there are all kinds of things you can do with it, like putting in titles, fades between clips, and all those great audio processing plugins that sony is famous for. DVD architect I don’t quite get, but hopefully that will come with a bit more time.
I really haven’t quite caught up with being an artist in the internet age, a lot of things are turned on their heads, especially the model that had just a few artists with their corrupt managers and studio heads making most of the money while 99 percent of the other artists all starved. Thats probably similar even today but there is an emergence of a huge middle class of artists that are able to serve a niche via the internet that appreciates them. They don’t make mega bucks but hey, nothing in this world beats making a living doing what you want to to do, whatever that is.
Of course if your taste in music is a bit obscure things can be a little tougher but what the heck.
Anyway I have lots of cool stuff in the can that will eventually make its way to my youtube channel and this blog.
