Tabla Jam with a VJ

Your Ad Here

Here is a jam we did with a VJ, nothing planned out beforehand. We did this at Springs Theatre Studio in tampa, on a monday night where they bring musicians in to teach people studio production. It sounds like it was loud but everything was very very low volume, way lower than I am used to playing. Guitar players will probably skip to 3:20 or 4:36
Anyway, check it out.

Indian Prayer for Peace (tablas)

Here’s some rough mixes from Saturday 7-17-2010, plus a bonus jam from 4 days before (on Wednesday with Matt on Drums)

Second Sat Session with Shankh. I am going to call it “Indian Prayer for Peace” I think:

Indian Prayer for Peace

First Sat Session with Bobo:
First Saturday session with Bobo, a little funkier

Wed Session with Matt (This one is much more aggressive, being away from the refining influences of Tabla and Keyboards ) Sorry we boned you on the drum sound Matt, we’ll get it better…

Wed Session with Matt, Steve, and Kevin, a little more harder edged

Really Amazing Keyboardist jam

Heres a couple jams we did with a truly world class keyboardist. Sorry we can’t tell you more, but you know how it is, what with record companies being what they are.

This first one is kind of tentative because we had never played together before or even met, but still has a nice groove and some cool stuff:

First Jam Session 7-10-2010 nice easy groove

Second Jam Session 7-10-2010 more loose, more funky

What the world desperately needs- another minor blues tune

I scoured the internet, looked up all the news reports, and concluded that the ultimate solution to the worlds problems lies in yet another minor blues tune. So here it is. 15 minutes plus.

This features Matt Webb on Drums and Kevin Ryan on bass, and nope we didn’t plan out anything beforehand.

Check it out.

Here is a player that will also hopefully work:

Kurt Mixes this Acoustic Guitar Jam

Ok I put Kurt behind the helm of Sony Acid for the very first time and we recorded this jam. For his first time, I think he did a great job. And he of course kicked some butt on acoustic guitar.

Kurts first mix acoustic guitar jam

Stevy Did a scratch bass track on this until we could get a real bass player, but what the heck. I just recently got Kevin Ryan to lay down a bass track on this one so in the future I think I will make my mix of this with Kevins bass track so that we can compare what it sounds like with two totally different bass tracks but leaving everything else the same. I can tell you already that it is quite different. Ok enough talk. Lets get to the extreme wankage. Steve is on the left side, Kurt on the right side, if you care.

Check it out.
