Four Seasons Summer on an electric guitar cover – Vivaldi

The hardest part was composing the drum because it’s not my department, For the Keyboard part I was winging it too. For the Guitar part I just followed what my ears pick from the classical version, Warning though!! I don’t read notes or tabs, I’m a self-taught musician, I did compromized on shredding or not over shredding, because I do get some complains.
Have a nice Summer everyone, Thank you for everything : comments, PM’s friend invites, rating and subscribing. You have been good friends.

Electric Violin – Cliffs of Dover – (CLEAN cover)

My name is Eddie Carlson, and this is the first violin cover of Eric Johnson’s epic “Cliffs of Dover.” I hope you enjoy my performance.

I am playing a Yamaha SV-200 through a Boss ME-50 effects pedal.

The audio/video sync is a little off…I think it just has something to do with being uploaded to youtube because there’s no similar latency when the actual video file plays on my computer. Oh well.

I don’t have the sheet music for this song, so I can’t send it to you – sorry. Check out the guitar tabs, they’re posted online everywhere, that’s how I learned it.

May 9 2010: I didn’t realize I could change the title after posting a video. When I first made the video, I jammed “guitar hero” in the title to score views. I definitely agree, Eric Johnson is amazing and it’s a cover of his song, not a cover form guitar hero. I give you…the new title, EJ fans rejoice! : )

KillrBuckeye – Arrival (original metal song–instrumental)

Please watch in high quality (link below opens in a new tab/window)!

The full quality mp3 is now available for download on iTunes ( http://tinyurl.com/7m68dg ) and other online music stores! Your support is greatly appreciated!

Tabs are now available on my website (see link at bottom)!

This is my first complete original composition in many years. I wrote most of these riffs over a year ago, but I finally pieced together a complete song over the past few months. I think vocals would fit very nicely over this song, but I decided to keep it an instrumental for now. I left it short and sweet to keep your attention. I put a solo in place of the second verse of the song.

The recording process was a learning experience for me. This is the first time I used a full-fledged DAW software (REAPER), and I took some tips from RedSGShredder for creating my drum tracks (check him out—he is awesome! http://www.youtube.com/redsgshredder ). I’m not a drummer, so please don’t expect anything great on the drum track. PetrucciFever gave me much-needed motivation to get started on some of my original material, so I owe a big thanks to him. He also gave me the idea to use pitch-shifted guitar for the bass line. He is another awesome player, so visit his channel if you havent done so already (http://www.youtube.com/petruccifever ).

Obviously there are multiple guitars layered in this song, so I’m only playing one part at a time for this video. Maybe in the future I’ll take some time to learn Adobe Premiere and put together something a bit fancier. I plan to make a complete write-up on my website about how I recorded this song. If youre interested in recording your own stuff, keep an eye out for this.

Thanks again for watching my video, and please let me know what you think!
