Andy James of Sacred Mother Tongue plays a track from his forthcoming solo album through the new Blackstar high gain monster, the Series One 1046L6.

John Browne, guitarist of Monuments demonstrates how easy it is to track guitars using the Series One 200 emulated output. John Dropped by the office with drum/bass tracks taken from Monuments forthcoming album and recorded guitar tracks for the song ‘The Uncollective’
Monuments are an upcoming British band, pioneering the new wave of progressive metal, nicknamed ‘djent’. Born from the ashes of breaking UK band FellSilent, guitarist John Browne has developed their signature sound of low drop tunings, staccato rhythms and strong melody with a new group of amazing musicians and are definitely one to watch!
Currenty signed to Basick Records, you will see Monuments on the British ‘League of xtraordinary djentlemen’ tour alongside Periphery and Tesseract. They are also in the studio, currently completing their debut album.

Hey guys, this is number 2 of 2 new singles released today!
This was the main one I was releasing, but I thought that I might as well release two as people have been complaining about how little videos I’ve been uploading recently.
This song is called “The Unseen” and in D standard tuning as well. Simply because I like that tuning and can’t really be bothered changing it. I do want to add a bit of continuity to my music.
For the solo; people thought that I should add a bit of variation in my solos, so there you have it, I added variation. I think this solo was more of a demonstration of what I can actually do now, as I don’t think my videos are as up-to-date as I think they should be.
I’d actually been working on this song for a while now, I had the intro and main intro riffs as well as the ending part, but I had trouble filling in the blank section. I just played around and managed to fill that blank right in. This song was recorded the exact same way as “Obscurity” was, but I spent more time recording it as I like this one better.

This song doesn’t have a fancy solo in it, but it has some awesome riffs that are extremely fun to play. It suits my down picking style very well, and it’s my favorite KSE song, so I thought I’d make a cover. The song is tuned to drop C and I’m recording directly to my computer using my Line6 POD 2.0.
