Here’s an original song I just finished. The amazing guitar players Andy Mckee and David Soltany were the inspiration on this one. The acoustic guitar I am playing is a Taylor 810Ce recording into an AKG mic with Presonus Bluetube Pre Amp. I hope you like it!

Small Video with Chapman Stick Hands on Top playing on a Keyboard Stand made for Jan van Kelst’ s Kelstone Hot Contest. The Chapman Stick was originally Made by Emmet Chapman to play in an upright position like Tony Levin or Bob Culbertson does. Jan Van Kelst developed the hands on top technique where you play on top of the Strings. I also saw many guitar players like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel or stanley jordan or bass players like John Myung or Jean Baudin using the tapping technique on their instruments always grabbing around the neck but the first guy where I saw it with hands on top was a youtube video called “Air Tap” of Erik Mongrain. He did nice stuff especially to get out the harmonics. I like the idea. The tune that I’m playing is a folk tune made by Alexander Meyen (www.violalex.de) that I played with the Loop String Project years ago where we also did a lot of live looping. There is also a video with the band!

Last night, April 7, we had another strong earthquake around midnight.
Many households in northern Japan were temporarily blacked-out for several hours. While in Tokyo, we had unusal quake again and it reminded us of March 11 killer earthquake. Altough it is tough to see things like radiation leak and rolling blackout in the midest of such aftershocks, i do really appreciate your kind support and well wishes from all over the world.

i will be working at a disaster hit northen region in May for 2 weeks to help and suport these people. Even in a situation like this, i will try my best to keep uploading a new video every week for you and for us to overcome the tragedy with the encouragement from you, my friend.
