Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia is considered a rare combination of innovator and traditionalist. He has expanded the expressive possibilities of the bansuri through his masterful blowing technique. T.H. “Vikku” Vinayakaram is the leading ghatam player, effectively accomplishing more than any other ghatam player before him to popularize the instrument on a global level.
