Guitar Cobra shreds faster than her shadow!

Inspired by that classic “shadow on amplifiers” photo, here’s my improvised tribute to the greatest guitar player of all times: James Marshall Hendrix. I managed to borrow a better camera and also got an external mike and an audio recorder. I tried lots of different lamps but in the end I got the best results with a tiny led Maglite, but unfortunately the battery was dying so I couldn’t do many takes. I think this is the best, you only see the shadow. I haven’t used an external mike before and somehow the audio goes a little off sync during the tapping part, so it looks like I’m playing faster than my shadow! Pretty neat, huh?
This video is also dedicated to those who have been asking me to remove my mask: here I am with the hood and part of the mask removed. I’m sure you’re all happy now?

Me playing my favorite Dokken riff and solo. I learned it by ear so feel free to correct if you know better. I believe that strong and powerful rhythm is the most important part of a killer lead guitar style. Imagine your right hand is like a striking cobra, not afraid to hit the strings hard, while keeping the left hand relaxed and fingers close to the strings.
The sound is a bit distorted but that’s probably because I like to play too loud! Stay tuned for more videos.
