At first I wasn’t planning on making a original song, I was just jamming along with the backing track and I started to figure out some cool lead guitar parts and from there I decided to make a hole song of it!
I wasn’t going for a full out guitar shred song!
I tried to make a nice mix of both slow crying guitar melodies and fast shredding!
I used different melodies and guitar techniques such as Tapping, Sweeping, Wah Wah pedal, Legato en Whammy bar stuff.
This song comes from my heart and what I feel inside.
I guess mixed emotion can create nice soothing guitar melodies if
you know how to use it! I call this song ”When reality departs”. (My heart).

Planet X – Alien Hip-Hop solo

This is possibly my all-time favourite guitar solo, by the incredible Brett Garsed on Planet X’s track Alien Hip-Hop (from the album Quantum).
There’s a legato run near the end I haven’t learned note for note, so i just jammed my way through it.
I’m using my Vigier Excalibur Ultra Blues guitar, with Bare Knuckle pickups (Holy Diver/Trilogy Suites), through a Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra.
