From speed kills 2, the number one shredder of all time (as he was ranked by some guitar magazine I don’t remember), Michael Angelo Batio shows some cool arpeggio licks that mostly require fast sweep picking, hammers and pull offs, and alternate picking. Tablature is shown for the two examples and they are also played at two tempos, slow and fast.

Clifford Lee “Cliff” Burton (February 10, 1962 — September 27, 1986) was an American musician, best known as the bass guitarist for the American thrash metal band Metallica. He was a great bass innovator, one of the earliest bass soloist.
My arrangement based on two Metallica`s songs: “To live is to die” (interlude), and tribute to Cliff played live in Seattle (1989) by Newsted, Hetfield and Hammet. Equipment: 7string Conklin, Boss Loop station, Zoom effect.

I tried to play some riffs & solos that I love…
using my Epiphone Les Paul Slash Goldtop, Fender John5 Telecaster, Fender Telecaster Baja, and Epiphone G400 vintage (sg)… the bass is an Ibanez sr500bm.
no amp here… only my Line 6 Toneport Ux1 (w/ Gearbox)
