My name is Eddie Carlson, and this is the first violin cover of Eric Johnson’s epic “Cliffs of Dover.” I hope you enjoy my performance.
I am playing a Yamaha SV-200 through a Boss ME-50 effects pedal.
The audio/video sync is a little off…I think it just has something to do with being uploaded to youtube because there’s no similar latency when the actual video file plays on my computer. Oh well.
I don’t have the sheet music for this song, so I can’t send it to you – sorry. Check out the guitar tabs, they’re posted online everywhere, that’s how I learned it.
May 9 2010: I didn’t realize I could change the title after posting a video. When I first made the video, I jammed “guitar hero” in the title to score views. I definitely agree, Eric Johnson is amazing and it’s a cover of his song, not a cover form guitar hero. I give you…the new title, EJ fans rejoice! : )

As usual with ??, his EQ dosn’t help much. But as I have told you guys before, it’s less frustrating if you try to hear it in a mid volume setting.
This arrange you love it or you hate it, and in this case for me I loved it. Not since the first time I herd it, but with the time I learned to dig it. Why is that? The guitar technique behind it is quite good, lots of sweep picking. Also I enjoy the mix of strings turning it into almost a classic arrange, with also a beat-up done by the drums. You can say this is one of those rare arranges where the 3 genres are combined.
I’m going to await the day ?? has a good EQ. If IKUTO did it, I don’t see why he can’t do it.
I think this image is gorgeous. It’s one of many alterations the original image have it, but I found this one quite special. And please! Sikieki, the Judge of dead, with a bandanna covering her eyes, just as lady justice. It even beats ZUN original idea. Not even a thousand objections by Phoenix Wright or Miles Edgeworth can’t stop Sikieki, the judge of dead.
