A: It’s a beautiful country, we love to be here.. and our drummer Matt lives in como, so we built a studio in italy, we had a lot of fun…. you can have a lot of creativity!

A: I think George’s is better… it is huge….
Q: I had read that you love simphonic music, you have a 40 pieces orchestra here in Milan, why this mix between rock music and orchestral music?
A: the band had a kind of influence by the piano and artists such as chopin and rachmaninov so we tried tho take an orchestra to do something different from the past… it’s been amazing
Q: you talk a lot about apocalypse and real problems, your album came out on 9/11… don’t think is a coincidence
A. oh no it’s just a coincidence.. someone thinks about a conspiracy but we are in a different time, the world is different and there was no messages with the album release.

In this ii-V7 lick we start with a nice melodic statement using an interval jump. Then we follow it up with a scalar pattern that leads into an arpeggio. So, we are utilizing the different techniques we have been learning in other licks. This is a good lick to learn in different keys and positions. It may take a little practice with the slow rhythm track to get this lick under your fingers. The fast tempo is a realistically bright tempo that jazzers play so take the time practice slowly building the speed of your eighth note lines.

Hey everyone. Sorry, this tutorial isnt very in depth. I had to cut out so much of it in order to fit YouTubes 10-minute limit (hence the frequent cuts). It began as a 20 minute tutorial. Ive never posted a lesson video before, and I did most of the sections in one take. I know I had trouble finding some words that I was searching for, so Im sorry! I hope you can understand what Im trying to say.
I know there are other awesome tutorial videos out there, so like I said, this is a video that kind of fills in the gaps between those videos. It focuses heavily on tap harmonics and the tricky second tapping section. It is geared towards players with an advanced technique and skill level. Much of this will test your ear strength, as I dont entirely explain what notes to play. Dont forget to rewind the video and watch the tricky parts over and over again!
