NEW CD! I am proud to announce the release of my second solo album called “Distant Love”. Please go to my web site at http://www.per-olovkindgren.com for sound samples! Free shipping all over the world!
Film composer Mark Mancina http://www.markmancina.com sent me his score for this piece to edit, arrange and perform. It took longer than I wanted to finish it… (sorry Mark) but here it is.
Mark compose the most beautiful music and has made the film scores for several Hollywood blockbusters like Twister, Speed, August Rush and others. In addition to his work as a film and television composer, Mancina added Broadway to his list of accomplishments when he co-wrote songs, produced and arranged the score for the musical production of The Lion King.

The first 4 notes are the “theme” notes in the movie “August Rush”. This piece never made it to the film though.
Please search his name here and enjoy the many clips with his beautiful music. He is also an instrument collector. Maybe I’ll sell him my guitar some day ![]()
Thank you Mark for trusting me with your music. I hope I did it justice.
The sound you can sometimes hear in the background is the ocean speaking softly in the late night…

“Limelight” by Rush Preview Lesson
Nov 26, 2010 legato
Legendary progressive rock guitarist Alex Lifeson shows you how to play the intricacies of the Rush classic, Limelight, originally released on the 1981 album Moving Pictures. Included are all of the rhythm parts highlighting the main riff and arpeggiated verses in detail. This iVideosongs title also features one of Alex’ most memorable guitar solos, which he explains in its entirety. This is a great intermediate-level challenge for rhythm guitarists looking to hone their use of less common chord voicings and arpeggiation techniques. The solo is perfect for studying tasteful use of the tremolo bar and slow legato phrasing. This is a sample of a 34 minute video available for download at iVideosongs.com.

A little bit of a strange mix but that’s the way i like it.
in the beginning i play some arpeggios in the style of my favorite guitar players Becker and Friedman.
They opened so many doors for me when i was young.
I started listening to strange japanese music and also modern classical composers.
I know some people hate this style but i don’t care.I just play.
On the other hand there is a player i almost
forgot about.David Gilmour from Pink Floyd.
In the last year i was non stop working on my guitar teaching so at one day i was so exhausted. There i remembered that i always loved the solos and the mood of this great band and listened back.
This was just great and it helped me to get relaxed again.
hope you like the fast and the slow.
See you all my friends!
