Here’s a funny tune I got from a classic rock web radio: “The Storm” by the band Babe Deluxee (?) not sure about the name, sounded French to me. It’s probably from 60’s or something but the guitar licks are pretty neat, almost like shredding! So I decided to see how much I could improve it with some modern techniques and a good metal tone instead of that clean (and a bit wimpy) guitar sound.
It also has some nice whammy action and the end is just me improvising over the music. This is actually a combination of two takes as I only have one camera. Thanks again for watching!

Me playing my favorite Dokken riff and solo. I learned it by ear so feel free to correct if you know better. I believe that strong and powerful rhythm is the most important part of a killer lead guitar style. Imagine your right hand is like a striking cobra, not afraid to hit the strings hard, while keeping the left hand relaxed and fingers close to the strings.
The sound is a bit distorted but that’s probably because I like to play too loud! Stay tuned for more videos.
